There are seasons when our prayers feel like they hit the ceiling and fall back down. We read Scripture, listen for God, keep showing up, and still the silence lingers. If you care deeply about God’s mission in the world, or about making sure everyone can encounter Jesus in accessible ways, that silence can feel especially heavy. “Lord, I want to serve. I want to go. I want to love well. Why can’t I hear You?”
If you’re in that place today, you’re not alone. God has not forgotten you. His silence is not His absence. There is a kind of holy work that happens in the waiting, even when we can’t feel it yet.
