About me
Hey, I’m Thomsen—an ASL Instructor with a big love for language, learning, and connecting across cultures. Beyond the classroom, I’m a curious mind exploring everything from writing and artificial intelligence to sports, food, and the ever-evolving world of Web3.

If it weren’t for Thomsen, I would not have received, nor found out about my current position as the Varsity & JV Swim Coach at Hillsdale High School in San Mateo, CA. Thomsen is a very dedicated, motivated and organized professional. He is a natural leader and has been a phenomenal mentor to me during the swim season. His great communication skills allow him to be a highly effective teacher and coach. He is always willing and ready to assist those in need. I highly recommend Thomsen for any position that he is applying for and know that he will be a great success.

Thomsen has brought a great new program to Mid-Peninsula. He helped to design a new ASL class at Mid-Peninsula High School. He chose the curriculum materials, designed the instruction, and taught the first classes. He has raised deaf awareness at our school and brought many new ideas to our students. His work has been especially beneficial to students with dyslexia, who have difficulty mastering a second language that requires spelling and phonics. He is a natural teacher.
